Best menu item on RCCL

Recommended Posts

Last year on the Serenade, we had ALOT of rice as a side dish to our entree...and I mean ALOT. And they'd throw weird combo's in - like a mexican rice with an italian dish.....I couldn't figure it out!

Anyway, hoping I don't have any rice come May on the Mariner!

I really loved the pasta served in the main dining room during lunch that you could choose your own ingredients and had a choice of sauce.

Coconut Creme Brulee!!!! Yummy!

Shrimp Cocktail - EVERY night

I also enjoyed the prime rib and were disappointed with the Lobster tail. But FI is from Boston, so I've had really good LARGE Lobster tail when visiting the future in-laws.

I am not sure if this would be considered 'on the menu', but my all time favorite meal was at Chops on Mariner. I had the larger Filet, (giant) shrimp cocktail, and real cheesecake, amongst other goodies.

A close second would be the lobster!

Another vote for the onion tart. That mushroom flaky pastry thingee is really good too.

I have read your replys many times and i thought you'd be the one to ask. Is the menu the same on all their ship. Sailing on the Sovereign in April and I've heard different reviews from this ship. HELP

The strawberry soup is my favorite. My favorite food is strawberries so I look forward to that on every cruise. I also had the best pork chop ever on the Legend last year. I have no least favorite since it all taste good to me. That mushroom thing they are talking about it really good too.

Another vote for the onion tart.

What? Does she actually sell onions on ship, or just give them away? :)

In any event, my favorites (leg of lamb and prime rib for entree and flourless chocolate cake for dessert) have already been chosen for best.

For worst, the NY Strip Steak (the recent substitute for the Ranch Steak) comes to mind.
