Has anyone ever hit a jackpot on slots on the ships?

Was on the NCL Star 2 nite to nowhere and hit for $15,000.:D This was a Quick Hits 2 cent machine.:) I also received a W2G.:(

I hit this one at 1pm, right before lunch.

They even put my picture on thier big winners board, one of these days I'll need to visit my picture.;) They told me it will probably be there for 2 years!:eek:

 

HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO TVLady3: Glad to see you are still around. We met on the Carnival Dream. I see that you are going on the NCL line a lot. We went to Bermuda on Holland America and will do a Carnival to New England/Canada in a few months.

Been getting a few comp cruises with NCL tru our local Atlantic City casino's.

I know you swear by playing the craps tables, but that $15,000 slot payoff I got is no small potatoes!

I only play BJ and VP But I have hit 4 deuces three times on three different Carnival ships for 2K each time. Twice it was on the last night of the cruise so I went straight to the pursers and paid off bill in cash. no credit card surprise!

Hi all. I Am going to be on enchantment of the sea next week and was wondering how the slot action has been recently and on what machines...VP is never a winner for me, I like the pennies, nickel or quarter machine. I have never ever won on a cruise slot machine. I am hoping maybe an informed hunt may help turn the tide!!!!:p

Can't help you specifically with the Enchantment, but as a long time cruising casino player, I can tell you that in general you should not expect much from slots on cruise ships.

 

In general, payback percentages are set very low on cruise ships. There's no reason for them to be set anywhere near normal land-based casinos, since they have a captive audience with no where else to spend their gambling dollars. You will usually find a mixture of mediocre and low paying machines, but if you're lucky you can find one of the mediocre ones and stretch your playing money a bit.

 

Of course, random chance does work in any casino, on land or sea, and you will always have the possibility of hitting a jackpot. Best of luck to you...let's hope that happens!

It was a $1 denimination 2 coin max bet 5X5X5X machine. I put in $20 and hit for $10,000 (5X5X5X all across) on my 3rd spin!

 

The funny thing is my DH wasnt feeling well so I said OK you go up to the room and Ill come up to the room in a few minutes. Well when I called the room for him to get my drivers licenense and told him what I won he "mysteriously" felt better :D

ANY LUCK ON HAL SHIPS? Best I'v done was on a quarter machine on Zaandam hit for $200 max bet I think was $1.25 Must say the quarter fliper on that ship was the biggest rip ever I know they are mony suckers in the first place but that one was constantly "tilting" and keeping ALL the coins that fell not just on the sides.

People say slots are tighter on the ships. But I've hit a "jackpot" (relative term) in two of my six cruises. Each was over $1,000, which is way better than six trips to land-based casinos for me. Both were on the last sea day, too. Still, I think it is all random...either you get lucky or you don't.

On my last night, Dec 14, on the Grand Princess I held two aces and the other two plus the kicker came up for $4000.

 

 

You were playind trouble double bonus-we like that ame and last cruise hit the aces with a kicker 2x bit we never got the 2s 3s or 4s and gave back a lot of it )-:
