Lanyards

Recommended Posts

We are heading out on the FOS this weekend and I was wondering if people wear them? We always have on Disney because of the pin trading. I only have Disney Lanyards should I buy them on ship or before we leave? How much are they?

I have 2 kids 9, 7 so lanyards are a easy way to keep track of thier sea pass.

Thanks for the advice

I was on FOS in March. I like wearing lanyards while cruising to keep track of my seapass card. Often times on cruise I wear dresses or swimsuits that do not have pockets. :p Feel free to bring the one you have from disney or you can get one from the Logo shop or casino.

The kids will be given their Adventure Ocean lanyards when they check in at Adventure Ocean. So you won't have to buy one for them. In the gift shop, the lanyards with the ship name are $4.99.

I have one from each cruise. ;) I love getting a lanyard from each ship. It started with my Disney World trips and just continued over to the ships.

And it helps me to keep track of our sea passes because I hang the lanyard next to the cabin door when I walk in and I just grab it when I walk out.

Hi there,

We always use them. Whilst I agree that I wear wone at work.. this is different and as we are usually pcoketless its easy to keep track of our sea passes.

We have a variety we use, some I have collected from vendors or from other cruise lines.....

Just take your Sea pass to the reception desk and they will punch it.

Have fun

I have one with a clip for easy removal of the seapass (saves having to bend down to swipe it when leaving/returning to the ship).

We have had the pleasure of introducing a few friends to cruising, and I always bring along spare lanyards for them to use.

Thanks for posting your question....we leave on Friday and you reminded me to search out our lanyards and pack them:) Like others have mentioned, with no pockets and no desire to carry a bag, they make keeping track of your sea-pass simple. I used to wear one when I worked, wearing one when you are retired and cruising is a whole other ball-game;)

I don't wear lanyards because they typically smack you in the face from the wind. I wear my card on one of the vinyl flexible key holders you put on your wrist, or can run it up your arm as high as you like. Like Jack said. Never know it's on there and can't lose it by laying it down somewhere, and of course, Guest Relations will put the hole in your card for it. Go to Wally World and get one in any color for under $3.

I thought that I would use one a couple of cruises ago.

Upon boarding, we sat down to eat in the W/J, and it dangled in the pumpkin soup, and made a terrible mess of my shirt.

Of course, I did not have a change of clothes available!:o
