Captain James MacDonald is back this week on Liberty of the Seas. FYI. So from 4/23 to ? I'll find more out soon.

Is Captain James from Liberty returning?

We had him on our first cruise in 2009 on Jewel, don't remember him but he certainly ran an excellent ship!

 

 

He's back on Liberty as of this past Sunday, 4/23.

Where do you get all of these screenshots of who the Captain is?

I never see the "Officers" sheet anymore, they don't seem to offer it on Oasis or Quantum Class ships.

 

 

 

If the sheet isn't in your compass on day one you can probably get one at guest services.

It has always been an insert in Day 1's Compass in your stateroom. There are extras at Guest Services on all the ships I've been on.

Out of curiosity, what has happened to Captain Tobias Oster?

He seems to have been replaced by Captain Juan Luis Caranti on RH.

 

someone a while back had posted a note that Capt Juan would be moving to RH. It may not have happened yet. Capt Tobias could be simply going to another ship

Usually 10 weeks on and 10 weeks off, but the two Captains assigned to a ship can work out changes if they like.
