Checking OBC and free champagne

Hi all. I booked my cruise through local TA and got $25 OBC (wow!) and a bottle of champagne. However, there is no note of this on the paperwork from HAL. Is there any way I can check this on the HAL site to confirm? I know it's not much but every little helps!

I wouldn't think it would be on the HAL confirmation ... however, you ought to request from your T/A an agency invoice, one that reflects the goodies. At least with that, and be sure to bring it along on your sailing, you can try to straighten out any issues onboard if necessary.

Gifts from TA's are never on the confirmation from HAL. First off it is a "Gift" It most likely is coming out of their commission. Usually it is purchased by the TA about 2 to 3 weeks before you sail. It could also be if they set up a Group to get Group amenities of which case HAL applies this amenity and that too will not show on your paperwork and does not get applied by HAL until they have finalized the group which is several weeks after final is due.

I am sure that your TA has sent you some sort of confirmation from their company and an email that may go over cancellation polices and in one of these I am sure it states they are offering you the ship board credit and bottle of Champagne.

chelseababy,

When you recieve your gifts, please check that it is Champagne and not the sparkling wine that HAL frequently uses and calls "champagne".

and if you don't care for the 'champagne', you can trade it in for a bottle of wine:D

Sometimes "sparkling wine" is nicer than some "champagne". ;)

The TA customary champagne gift is the standard sparkling wine HAL is using at that time. Unless the TA confirmation indicated Dom Perignon, I would not expect to receive that. :D
