O, shuttle Livormo

They are not provided by the ship/cruise line, but by the port. As Livorno is more an industrial port rather than a cruise ship dock, for safety reasons the shuttle is pretty much required.

.....and the port employees collect the €5 at the door of the bus before you get on. We've travelled with a cruise line which provides free shuttles at each port, and they made a point of telling us about the Livorno bus.

I believe there's some arrangement with RCI, so that you can buy the ticket on board their ships- it should be around $8.
