Some Alaska trips are up!

Recommended Posts

Was just going to post this information but was pleased to see it is already on the board and didn't want to create a duplicate thread. Great news and I suspect the most popular rooms will sell out very quickly, so don't delay.:)

Cool, let's see if they'll offer something worth me switching my already booked Alaska 2013 cruise aboard the Norwegian Jewel...

Call, call, call, as you can book Radiance by calling reservations 800-327-6700

I just booked the first two cruises May 17th and May 24th

I called too! The rooms I want are "held" so I'm hoping it was my TA - we were both trying. If not, there are plenty of other rooms in same category, these are just "the best". LOL

Why are they (RC) - "HOLDING" rooms?? Who does RC hold rooms for??

He said group hold so I expect TA block?

Are you saying that TA can "HOLD" rooms that are not yet open to the public??? That does not seem fair to me -- I would hope that RC would treat all of its customers the same. First come - first serve-- once the booking are open to all.

We snagged 8088 but all the afts E1s are available also and are second guessing on that. Those who've done Radiance to Alaska, which would you choose. There was only $80 total difference to move aft. Help! Need to know ASAP if we are to move! Thanks

Tried several times to do a 24 hr hold..no go..Called and hard to believe most of the JS are held already for the May 17th..Love the afts and #1602 was available but I was worried about the weather..ended up taking #1086...Darn I misssed #1042 & 1068..But will just keep a watch...At least I got a portside nonconnected..Kudo's to those of you on the east coast that timed this just right..I kept checking all day yesterday even after midnight last night...

Ok, had to switch from Southbound to North but got 1100 and 1602 (friends) for June 28! Convincing friend we can do Northbound w/land at end (Fri to Fri cruise, we can land until the following Fri, fly home and have a weekend to recover). Plus, no post-cruise letdown as we'll have a whole week on land!

Were you looking on June 21? Cause that combination is available.

Yikes! Just priced out the Rhapsody of the Seas for a similar date, itinerary and category to what I currently have booked on the Norwegian Jewel, and it is pricing out about $1,000 higher!

Where is the CL on Radiance?

When Radiance went into drydock last year for her "revitalization" the CL was moved from Deck 10 to Deck 13 where the Hollywood Odyssey was previously located. A Diamond Lounge was created in the aft section of the Viking Crown Lounge. Old CL is now a two room family suite.:)

Well, I've been reading since 7:00 AM and we've decided to keep our 8088. Thanks!

And Masonpips thanks for the heads up. I was checking all day yesterday but nothing.....I called about 3 seconds after reading your post this morning. And I was the first booking for Sept. 6th sailing:p

I did the same. Was SHOCKED when it came up and then no Radiance at first so I called. July 5th is HUGELY popular. When the kids are off to college I'm going in "off" weeks too! LOL

Is the new DL on ROS walled off into a seperate space with a door like other DL's or is it just a dedicated area of the VCL ?
