Not quite sunrise but since it was technically "nautical twilight" just before sunrise, I'm going with it!

 

 

It was a good weekend! I don't often get out where you can see the stars with any clarity.

Those colors are unusual and lovely.

 

Thank you. I use my super vivid feature on my camera for sunsets, it really brings out those beautiful colors.

Are y'all using a tripod or monopod for the on-ship sunset pictures? I see some long exposures in some cases . . . VR and image stabilization only go so far LOL.

 

If you're using a tripod, do you find that the motion of the ship causes problems with your shots?

 

I am not, just my little Canon Power Shot camera.
