Another vote for Overlord. And yes, book well in advance, as they are very small. Also pricey, on the order of 800 euros for the day, whether you have 1 or 8 people. Many folks put a group of 8 together from their Roll Call...

 

(As noted above, June 5 is not D-Day. But that doesn't mean you won't have a great tour! :))

The cruise leaves Southampton on June 5 and the ship docks in Le Havre on June 6. I looked at that cruise myself, but decided on an earlier one.

If Overlord is already booked you might want to try Normandy Sightseeing Tours. I believe that these companies get booked at least a year in advance of D day. I booked NST 14 months out for a may 29, 2013 visit.

They have adjusted their prices up 110 Euros for next summer! :eek: Maybe their good reputation on these boards have given them much deeper pockets:rolleyes:

Okay, Overlord is pricey but they do offer exactly what we want so we'll pay the $$$. Renting a car (like I had originally planned) is definitely out of the question on D-day! We want to make the rest of the cruise :eek::D:)

No, we paid 85 euros per person, when the other venders were charging 90 euros per person.
