Okay guys it's time for me to go home from work:) I'll post more after i cook dinner...OMG I gotta cook dinner:mad:, i wish i could order room service...Boohoo Seriously i'm crying right now.

OMG you have no idea how happy I am to see that big plate of Chinese food. I could eat that stuff for every meal of the day (and plan on it when we cruise the Destiny next month!)

I'll second the Chinese. We cruised Princess in April and I missed my soups and noodles.

Okay so after sail away our explored the ship for a bit, We went back to our room to see if our luggage had arrived and it had so we unpacked and got settled in our new home for the next five days.

We had Anytime Dining in the Galaxy dining room,I enjoy being able to go to diner when i wanted, We never had a wait, not even 60 seconds. We were able to have a booth every night except one and i believe that was elegant night. We had Michael for our waiter every night, we loved his personality,he kept us laughing, It was freezing in the dining room and he gave me a bottle of Tabasco sauce, I asked him what is this and he says to me drink some it keeps you warm.

I had the grilled pork steak, not bad at all.

 

 

Dh had the fried chicken off the everyday menu, he said it was okay.

Sorry i took a bite before i remembered to get a picture, Now this was excellent.

 

After diner we went to the Criterion lounge to listen to karaoke, Which by the way is hilarious, there was some great talent on the ship ,but there was also a lot of people who had just enough liquid courage to tell them to get up there and sing, i thought about singing but my hubby begged me not to, i'm so glad he did because i can't sing.

 

 

 

After Karaoke we decided to call it a night, i was basically sleep walking because i was too excited to sleep the night before.

This is my first attempt at doing a review, but i decided to give it a try because while planning for my cruise i read any and every review that i could find on the Destiny, so i thought i would return the favor, be warned that my spelling is horrible so be kind please:)

 

So here goes. I planned this vacation a year in advance, I thought the day would never get here, The wait wasn't to bad as I've had a very busy year. A little about us. It was me 44 and Dh 47, We decided to do two days in South Beach before our cruise. We meet my sister 31 and my Mom who's still claiming to be 48:rolleyes: until she could get a senior discount.

 

We stayed at the Kent hotel, got a good deal on LMT for $80 bucks per night, not a 5* But clean and conveniently located. We arrived early and couldn't check in until 4pm. They held our luggage and we were off to find food.

 

Here are some pictures, At least i hope;)

Of course we had a few drinks, By the time we got back to the hotel to check in we were feeling no pain,we check in our rooms and it was lights out. We woke up around 9:00pm. I called my mom to see if they were woke and we decided to go have dinner,and go to Mango's

Well if you really loved your balcony,

try one of the ocean suites next time.

 

That will really impress you!!

 

 

At 1:30 we went down to drop off our bags and to check out our room. We had cabin 7316 one of the L-shaped cabin with the bigger balconies, I was nervous about this room because I've always had a midship cabin and i was scared of getting seasick, Let me tell you i worried for nothing, i couldn't feel any motion in the cabin, well not from the ship anyway;) I absolutely loved this cabin and this was our first time getting a balcony room, i made a great choice, but the only problem is i got addicted to that darn balcony.

 

 

 

And the cabin does have a sofa.:D

Day 2 we got room service delivered at 7:30 and had coffee and danishes on the balcony, that was so cool. The coffee was hot and was fine with me it wasn't the best cup i ever had but wasn't the worst either. After breakfast i lounged around and read my book on the balcony while Dh watched something on tv. I must have dozed off because i heard my hubby laughing, he was snapping pictures of me:rolleyes:

 

 

This was just mean.

 

So i got up and went up to the lido deck to have breakfast again this time some real breakfast, it was extremely crowded, we did manage to get something. After that we went on the deck to listen to music, By the way they did have some live music and i really enjoyed the Caribbean music that they played.

It was very windy up there, the breeze was great.

 

I went to the casino that afternoon and won a little money so i cashed out and put to money on my sail and sign card went shopping on the ship.:D

I bought ten bottles of liquor and i didn't get charged duty on them, Customs just told me to have a nice day.:confused: I purchased some photos and then went to my room to take a nap.
