Selecting cabins

Is there anywhere to look at a deck plan to see which cabins are available for a specific cruise? Like the "scanning of the sea" website that didn't appear to have oceania on it. I find this system on Oceania website very awkward when they give you cabins one by one. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Not sure if there is such a site

You can pick the Cabin Cat you want on the cruise you want & ask your TA or Oceania reservations if it is available

Or just go through the booking process on the Oceania site to the stage where it shows the cabins available

If they are only showing 1 at a time then that is all that is left in that Cat

They usually show up to 7 if there is availability

If you have a specific cabin you want just put that cabin number in the search box ...if you are looking at a upcoming date the cabins may be in short supply

You may be better just to call Oceania & ask

Good luck with your quest

A good TA will know every cabin that is available in every category. Sometimes he or she can get you one that is NOT available. Really.

There are actually quite a number (I can think of five or six off the top of my head) of Web Sites that display cabin availability in real time, -remember, Google is your friend-, but when the number of open staterooms dip below a certain level , or the sailing date draws very near, ALL of those Sites start flashing "Call us for Details".

The Oceania Site will display information for a week or ten days longer than the rest, but towards the end, one simply must talk to a representative to get any information at all.

Actually the cabin is more important to us than the where the cruise is going within reason, sounds odd but we like the comfort of a nice suite. If the right suite isn't available when booking, we'd move to another cruise. But a really Good TA that you use can make magic happen, that's why always use a TA when booking a cruise.

You took the words right out of my mouth.:D

We have always been able to get the suite we wanted, of which there are few, because of a great TA. The ship is our destination and tours, for the most part, are a thing of the past, and then only alone or with a very small group.
