Yes, take the early walk off option, where you carry your own luggage. The airport is only 10-15 min drive by taxi.

No problem, I have even caught a 10:30 am flight a few years ago from Ft Lauderdale. Just do the early walk off and catch a cab to the airport. Happy cruising.

I think you can have a nice breakfast in MDR, collect your luggage, and be there in plenty of time. I don't think early walk off is needed. If you get in the cab by 9:15 it should be no problem. They move you along and will get you off according to time of flight.

Agree with last poster. No need for early walk-off at all. That time is within Princess' recommend departure times.

My last cruise flight home from Ft. Lauderdale was at 9:39am. I was waiting a hour at the airport to leave.

We take a flight at that time every cruise. And we don't do the first walk off. We usually leave between 9 and 9:30.

 

Two weeks ago it took 8 minutes to get to the airport.

 

Depends on how many ships are in - but NO Problem
