Currently on the Pride

Howdy All :)

 

Seems we are going super slow. Foggy as hell out there and the horn keeps blaring. Visibility is basically 0 and I know on land it is the same for some.

 

No idea if we will be late or not. Currently going 9 knots.

 

But it has been a great vacation :) so sad it is ending :(

I hope it doesn't delay embarkation tomorrow - I'm ready for my vacation :D

 

Better though to take it slow and arrive home safely. I guess I'll check on ship before we head to port.

Looks like you are up to 16 knots. Think you may have slowed to ensure you made the channel marker.

I think once dawn breaks we will be fine but sleeping with the horn light become an issue haha.

Had a couple of foggy days on the Pride in October but I think that was more from the alcohol:eek:. Hope you aren't too late getting back. (We were delayed because of a medevac and I felt sorry for the folks waiting to board, but at the same time glad to have a little extra time on the Pride.)

They just posted on the news.....25 mph for driving on EVERY road, highway, turnpike...etc.

To second that question! We have our noses pressed at the hotel window trying to see the ship as we are very close to the pier, but its too foggy to see anything!!

According to AIS, Pride is currently under the Key bridge. Usually about an hour from there to tieup.

O did not try cheers. My friends would never have bought it and plus...I can't drink that much. I only drink mix drinks. Met someone who did and they did not like the limit.
