Caribbean

None in the summer.

Agreed. No ships sailing from the UK, or chartered fly-cruises, in August - the UK ships & most US ships are elsewhere at that time of the year.

If you are committed to August, you'll find some sailings on US ships out of Florida or San Juan.

Way better November to March when there's a wide choice including a number of UK ships stationed in the Caribbean - their fly-cruises are excellent value & super-simple. It's also a good time not to be in the UK ;)

The Caribbean is ideal for a first cruise. A UK ship, such as P&O's Ventura or Azura is better for a Brit first-timer - there are a few pitfalls with US ships, particularly higher on-board costs. But some pluses as well :)

JB :)
