Question about final bill statements

Recommended Posts

We were on the Liberty for the 4/20/13 sailing and had a great time. On my past two sailings Carnival placed a copy of the final bill in our mailbox outside of our room. This time we didn't get one. I forgot to print one out at the kiosks. Is there any way to get a copy of the detailed bill after the fact? I had been checking the statement on our TV over the week, so I'm sure it's close enough to accurate. I like to have the copy as a type of souvenir.

I always question them putting them out in the open like that where anyone walking along can grab one from another cabin. Maybe kids got yours just for fun.

I dont know who you could write to, but you could try guest solutions.

Part of the fun on the last day is walking down the hall and seing what others spent I'm sure alot of people have a stroke once that final bill hits after a week of just swiping away.. Those same few prolly make a beline to guest services to remove the service charge...

So you actually take someone's bill out of their box to see what they spent?

I was also on the 4/20 Liberty. I didn't get a bill under my door or in my mailbox like I had on my past 19 cruises. I went to guest services and asked about it and was told that they are doing away with printing out bills. The lady at guest services told me that since you can see the bill on the tv and they have kiosk machines located on the ship, they will no longer be printing them out and I'm welcome to print one out at the kiosk myself.

I don't know, I like to spend the last night in the casino, but whatever floats your boat, right.

That's just straight nosey and certainly not any part of fun. I know tbe cruise is almost over but there's alot more to do on the last night other than looking at what other people spent.

Yep, definitely think it's fun, especially when some people have multiple pages stapled together. I don't look to see what the totals are on any of them, but I can't help but smile when I see some rather thick final bill statements. :D

You call that part of the fun? :( What you are doing is the same opening another person's mail. Just because the person's cruise statement is not in an envelope does not give you the right to look at it.

Just off the Breeze, and our final bill was in our mailbox on our final night. Let's just say there was sticker shock:eek::eek::eek: My poor liver....... lol

I really could care less either way....we knew what the final bill was, as we checked it out on the TV, throughout the week......:D

Mailbox!? I have only cruise on the Fantasy class so far. I our bill was always slid under the door.

If they are not printing them anymore, then what about your check or if you owe them money? The Fantasy or Fascination doesn't let you check your statement on the TV.

When you don't touch it can't be the same all it takes is a glance over and see the pages and final bill cruisers I've been on they are in plain view outside the door

I'm not sure how you might get a copy other than by calling or emailing and asking for one. I do know that Carnival has stopped providing copies at your cabin on debarkation day. The Fun Times states to go to the kiosk to view or print one if you want one.

does the splendor have kiosk? If not, how long is the line at guest service to get a copy on debarkation day

There is a danger in putting those statements in the mailbox. Last summer I found ours, grabbed it - only to suffer a mild heart attack...

$23.000 plus. Most spent in the casino. My husband almost fainted.

When we looked closer, it happened to belong to the cabin next door.

A quick trip to Guest Services gave us our modest bill of $624... Pfffeeew!

23.000 plus!!!!!

I do find it weird they leave it in the mailbox for others to peruse and often they fall out, I have seen several drifting down hall ways. Just odd?

The 3 of us in our cabin usually only rack up 10-30 bucks total not counting gratuities, but still...those who spend more don't need other folks knowing.
