Here are a few from Saturday of the various nesting or recently hatched birds in the wetlands: A least bittern chick: A black-necked stilt chick: A green heron chick: A momma red-winged blackbird sitting snugly in her nest: And a yellow-crowned night heron poppa building a nest for his mate: All shots taken with Sony NEX-5N, SEL55-210mm lens, and 1.7x teleconverter Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
