Live and Almost Live from Carnival Sunshine, May 17-26, 2013

Recommended Posts

Just got back from our first carnival cruise on Sunshine and I must say we had a great cruise. She still has a few problems that have to be worked out,but for us it did not take away from our enjoying her.The food was good except for the powdered eggs. Our room was a good size and cleaned by very attentive stewards.Enjoyed the bar venues and except for the late nigh comedy show that starts at 11(show gets out then so by the time we arrived the comedy show it had already started and no seats) Should start the comedy show at 11:15 or 11:30 IMO

Getting off in port was easy never encountered long lines.Getting back on board took more time ,but nothing to complain about.

We will definitely consider Carnival for future cruises.

Did I miss photos of the Fitness Center? Is it a decent size? Hopefully with many treadmills??? Husband and I are both training for the Marine Corp Marathon in late October, so will have to keep our workouts going. Plus, I feel less guilty eating (AND DRINKING) more when I'm working off those extra calories with a run :D

Leaving one week from today --DC bound to Barcelona!!!! June 28 Sunshine, here we come!

Do they have the Martini Tasting on the Sunshine? Looking through a photo review of the Legend, and saw "Mini Martini Tasting" for $17 in one of the bars. Need to try a few out to see what my favorite onboard martini will be ;)

I've just found out there are NO bar snacks in the Red Frog Pub in Sunshine. They do not have a kitchen. :(

Weather is better than your cruise, boiling in the high 80s. Far too hot for me though.
