Police escort person in handcuffs

Recommended Posts

Just got off the 3 day Majesty of the Seas.

When we boarded on Friday, we were hanging out by the pool and saw 2 police officers walking around. They looked liked they were "looking" for someone. We did not give it a second thought.

This morning as we were coming down from breakfast back to our room on deck 9, we saw a few Miamia police and they had a person up against the wall in handcuffs. As we walked off the ship we saw the police taking the person away.

Have no idea what he did.

That goes to show that they really send your info to Homeland Security! They often share those files with other law enforcement teams to nab offenders who are dumb enough to schedule a cruise.

And maybe the offender was dumb enough to not realize that the cruise would be returning the same port! :)

I was cutting through deck 3 of the Enchant of the Seas last June out of Baltimore. Outside of one stateroom there was an armed security officer. We had never seen anything like that before. After we disembarked, several police cars were outside of the terminal and they marched a man and a woman out in handcuffs.

I love all of the references to those d...b threads yesterday. I surprised that a few people haven't written back to tell you that your comments are "gonna have to wait!"

~OK, let's see who has been paying attention~

You see, this is basically what happened... In the wee hours of the morning, a group of men descended upon the hot tubs with several bottles of champaign only to find the man battering his corn dog with the lady WITHOUT a reservation (appearantly RCCL allows you to book these kinds of activities, but you need to be D+). The couple was just finishing up and the woman was lighting up a cigarette  The gentleman gave chase and she threw her cigarette over the side where it landed on the aft balcony of an emerald cruiser, who complained about it to the GS, who immediately called security. Security gave chase and caught the couple, and then they discovered the real crimes - identity theft. The couple was posing as D+ when they were really Carnival faithful cruisers looking to sabotage RCCL. First, they were booked into a non-suite but were wearing suite issued robes  Second, they discovered a magnet in the woman's robe pocket (she was systematically demagnetizing sea passes). Third, the man had a list of ridiculous questions to ask the captain in an effort to delay the ship at each port. But, their worst crime... They smuggled liquor aboard via rum runners, and were giving it away to passengers...

So glad they took me up on my suggestion for dealing with chair hogs.

Ha ha!

Maybe he was giving people the wrong temperature...

Bwahahahahaha!

Maybe he was busted for attempted starfish smuggling

Actually, the person probably had an outstanding warrant. Law enforcement does check for that sort of thing when you travel out of the country.
