Monsoon Rain Right Now In Ft Lauderdale

Have you heard if the airport lost power? My parents cruise out tomorrow and just heard their plane was diverted to Orlando due to no power at Ft. Lauderdale. Now, I can't get back in touch with them.

This weather is so crazy! I have been watching the webcams and it looks like it's been raining there off/on for 2 weeks straight!

Crazy weather here at home, too.

We've had really crappy, rainy weather the past ten days at least. We got the worst of it yesterday on the west coast and it was nice and sunny today.

Over 14 inches of rain in Hallandale Beach since midnight as of 9:30PM. On CNN, Hallandale Beach Blvd was covered with at least 6 inches of rainwater. At my condo, my friends told me that the parking lot was now a small lake. Weather reports state that they should get another four to six inches before it's over. In Northern New Jersey we received over three inches since last night.

I am an insurance adjuster in south florida, and nothing but roof claims this past 2 weeks. Worse part is that its raining heavy everyday so I can never get these roofs inspected. We had about a foot of water by my condo on A1A in Fort Lauderdale this afternoon.

Yep, lots of crummy weather! My pool is full, as is the backyard lake. Welcome to hurricane season! It's not a hurricane obviously, but typical wet summer weather, though it doesn't usually last days on end. The last 2 days was TS Andrea...now it's on it's way north.

The weather has been crazy. We live on both coasts so have been dealing with weather on both. House in Naples and high rise in Brickell. I hate that hurricane season has started!

Hey, the rain couldn't keep me away from the Heat game Thursday night. I was willing to get wet!!
