Evening dress

This will be our first cruise on Celebrity (only one previous cruise, with PandO). My wife would like to wear her evening gown and bling on the formal nights on Eclipse in the Med (she doesn't get many chances otherwise). Do many ladies 'dress up to the nines', or will she feel out of place?

I "dress" every night for dinner. Have never been on Celebrity, so I don't have an answer. I would like to "invite" your wife and you to check out the fashion board here on CC......ask your question there and you will get a lot of replies.

You can't be overdressed. We always dress very formal on Celebrity. Never dress up fancy at home except for a couple of formal fund raisers, so we love dressing up on our Celebrity cruises.

Yes....there is no way to be overdressed, unless you wear your tiara....that's a bit "over the top"! Many women will be in evening gowns.

We always dress up on formal night! Makes for good pictures, and is fun for a change. Will you be wearing a tuxedo, too?
