SugarLover Posted July 22, 2015 #226 Share Posted July 22, 2015 CABIN #: 9100 DECK #: 9 CLASS: AQ2 AREA: mid-ship, very centrally located near stairs and elevator, and Concierge BED NEAR: bath QUIET?: not always, right by staircase hallway, so you'll sometimes hear noisy people in the hall. ALSO, this cabin is under the covered pool deck tables for the grill... so sometimes you'll hear chairs scraping from above too BALCONY VIEW: usual Aqua overhang, but double width, to accommodate next door suite (to left) BALCONY SIZE: TEENY TINY, barely fits the 2nd chair. It's not rectangular, but rather triangle shape, for some odd reason. WIND A PROBLEM?: no SOOT A PROBLEM?: no PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: we got this last minute, as a Guarantee cabin. Two problems: 1)The cabin door is smack in the middle of the center hallway near the staircase, so when you open your door, EVERYONE sees inside. So, if you are not dressed, your cabinmate must first open the closet door, then the bathroom door, to create a visual block for anyone at the door, or even to just open it to go out. Not fun! Constant problem. 2) the balcony was cut off triangularly, as it is the last in the row of Aqua cabins, and is adjacent to the suite next door. Picture a regular size cabin, now cut it in half, on the diagonal, and you'll have an idea of the size and shape of 9100's balcony. I believe it is the same exact problems for Summit 8108. Check out the attached photo, you'll see the balcony in the center of the photo, it's the one under the glassed area deep overhang, right next to the suite bump out. The balcony was not covered and the partitions were not all the way up. BALCONY VIEW: No overhang, open balcony except for the small ledge from deck 12. BALCONY SIZE: Small, but larger than the NCL Breakaway's joke of a balcony! Fits only 2 chairs sideways and a small table. WIND A PROBLEM?: not that I noticed. SOOT A PROBLEM?: no PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: Shower has glass doors. Room is in excellent condition. Great service.

We would book this room again in a heart beat. The balcony alone would be worth booking this room again.:) Hi, crazytomatoes I saw your review right after I booked 9162. I'm hoping you can answer one question. I know it was your kids' room, but was their balcony also extra large? Does it get any sun at all? Love your name, btw. Maligator Posted September 13, 2015 #234 Share Posted September 13, 2015 (edited) SHIP: Constellation CABIN #: 9164 CLASS: C1 Concierge DECK: 9 AREA: Aft-facing BED NEAR: Bathroom QUIET?: NO! Directly under Oceanview Bar. Some light noise on the veranda of glasses tinkling, conversations and typical bar noise. Inside, the sounds of chairs and tables being moved, as well as when the bartenders open and close the cabinet doors (the bed is right under the actual bar counter). Neighbor said he heard the crew cleaning into the wee hours and he had to go find someone to complain, but we didn't hear the noise. BALCONY VIEW: Great! At sea: wake. In port: whatever is behind you. BALCONY SIZE: Deep and wide, due to aft location and extra width for the accessible aspect. Two semi-reclining chairs, two footrests, small table, two regular chairs. WIND A PROBLEM?: No. SOOT A PROBLEM?: No. Is this even a thing anymore? CONS: Unless it was the absolute last C1 available, we would not choose another aft cabin on Deck 9. The noise from above at night isn't worth it to us. Clothes horses will have a hard time with the limited space for hanging clothes. PROS: Huge room, due to wheelchair accessible aspect. Bathroom is also enormous. Easy access to aft elevators. One flight to the "back" entrance to Oceanview. Yes .Despite our fears that we might hear noise from the theatre, we never heard a sound. BALCONY SIZE: One of the Sweet 16 cabins, the balcony is double depth half covered, half uncovered. Two fully reclining chairs and a small table which doubled as a foot rest when covered with a pool towel. The cabin chair similarly covered served as a second footrest. WIND A PROBLEM: No SOOT A PROBLEM: NO COMMENTS: Smooth seas so no movement felt. Close to forward elevators. Strongly recommend this cabin

No. A lot of dragging and pounding overhead early morning and around 10 pm BALCONY SIZE: Standard WIND A PROBLEM: No SOOT A PROBLEM: NO COMMENTS: The location was good. We were disappointed in the balcony. It's completely covered and is doubly obstructed. The window washing equipment is between this cabin and the neighboring one and the lifeboats are directly below. MDTrip Posted November 8, 2015 #240 Share Posted November 8, 2015 CABIN #: 3019 DECK #: 3 CLASS: (Sorry I don't know) AREA: Forward, near the elevator but it was not loud at all BED NEAR: Bathroom QUIET?: Yes BALCONY VIEW: Just a large round window. No balcony BALCONY SIZE: -- WIND A PROBLEM?:-- SOOT A PROBLEM?:-- PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: Toilet did not flush well, but they fixed it. Fan in bathroom doesn't do much to exhaust the steam. Room needs an overhaul, but whole ship is scheduled for overhaul March 2016. Grout in shower needs replacing, and sink fixtures were worn. Probably true with every cabin at this level. We used this room as a triple. We usually get a balcony for a triple. This was very tight. When you pull out the chair into a bed, there is no place for the coffee table, and you have about 10 inches of room between the end of the second bed and the coffee table to slide by to get to the bathroom. We managed, but we are all pretty small people.

On balcony we heard voices from neighbors having big party. Balcony view: Sometimes in ports obstructed by Maltese flag. Balcony size: Extra deep, standard width, 70 per cent covered Wind: No Soot: No Problems/comments: We really felt ship's motion: we had 2.5 stormy days and furniture was screeching all night, drawers opened and closed, magazines felt from the table. Air Conditioner blowing right to the face and difficult to adjust it, either very hot or very cold. Balcony is very hot during the day since there are no breeze. Next time I would rather choose 1138. Great location, close to elevator, stairs to Oceanview Cafe and to bar below.

Mynki Posted December 8, 2015 #245 Share Posted December 8, 2015 Celebrity Millennium Jewels of Indonesia cruise November 22, 2015. CABIN #: 6145 DECK #: 6 CLASS: Sky Suite 1 AREA: Aft BED NEAR: Faces the balcony door. Bathroom behind you. QUIET?: Mostly. This suite adjourns the penthouse. The most noise actually came from the butlers mobile phone, as he was bombarded with calls from suite guests. It was quite common to hear his phone ringing. Other than that the only other noise was from the noisy air con unit. BALCONY VIEW: Unobstructed. BALCONY SIZE: Good, slightly larger than any other sky suite other than the opposite 6146. WIND A PROBLEM?: No SOOT A PROBLEM?: No PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: This is one of two sky suites which connect to the penthouse suites and can be booked by PH guests requiring a second bedroom. As a result the bathroom and balcony are slightly larger than a regular sky suite and the room is decorated in the same manner as the penthouse. The wardrobes have a tendency to open in rough water. This can be annoying at night because the light comes on once they open so take some tape with you and tape them shut before hand. One of the taps leaked intermittently. Despite having a plumber look at this twice the fault was not rectified properly. Your balcony is overlooked by several cabins above. It has a table, four chairs and two reclining chairs also. cruzfiend Posted December 15, 2015 #246 Share Posted December 15, 2015 Deck 7 Cabin #7186 Conciege Class The room was very quite and large. Plenty of storage. My only complaint about the room is you have a awning under your balcony for privacy of the suite on 6 so you have an obstructed view of the ocean which is not mentioned in the Celebrity website. The bed is in the middle of the room, not next to the balcony.
WEGL81 Posted December 23, 2015 #247 Share Posted December 23, 2015 CABIN #: Constellation 6104 Celebrity Suite DECK #: 6 CLASS: Celebrity Suite AREA: Mid ship BED NEAR: Separate Bedroom QUIET?: Yes BALCONY VIEW: Great - unobstructed BALCONY SIZE: Double width, standard depth, curved WIND A PROBLEM?: Yes. Cabin faces forward and and sticks out beyond rest of ship. Wind is strong when underway. SOOT A PROBLEM?: No PROBLEMS/COMMENTS - Great cabin except for one thing. There is a jetted tub in the bathroom that is about 8-10 inches higher than the bathroom floor. Anyone over 6 ft will have to duck to take a shower. Getting out with wet feet can be slippery as well since you have to step down.
4ready2cruz Posted December 31, 2015 #248 Share Posted December 31, 2015 Constellation CABIN #: 3120, 3126, 3128 DECK #: 3 CLASS: Oceanview AREA: Mid ship BED NEAR: QUIET?: Yes, these cabins are located in the conference room area of the ship near Guest Relations and the Shore Excursion desk. Minimal foot traffic since there are no interior cabins in this corridor. The Martini Bar on 4 is nearby and the DJ would set up on the overhang but we were far enough away and down a separate hallway for it not to be a problem. PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: This room had VERY large windows, so lots of light (but warm on port days but cooled down quickly). Very easy access to both the midship and aft elevators and stairs. janeyzee Posted December 31, 2015 #249 Share Posted December 31, 2015 Ship : Infinity Cabin #: 8111 Deck #: 8 Class: Concierge C2 Area: Mid ship Bed near: Bath Quiet?: Yes Balcony view: Good. Balcony is completely covered by the overhang of Deck 10. Balcony size: standard Wind: No Soot: No Cabin is in a very convenient location on Deck 8, near the glass elevators and aft stairs. When sitting on the balcony, we could faintly hear music from (I assume) the pool deck but it wasn't loud, just in the background and I enjoyed it. Just down the hall from the library which was nice, we always use the library. Panama Canal cruise - balcony was nice for watching the progress as we went through the locks when we weren't up on deck.
