kenmyfam Posted December 3, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 3, 2013 This is our first time cruising and today we got the email that so many others have mentioned before....we are sailing on the Freedom on Thursday and the email says that embarkation will begin at 1:30 pm until 3pm and we shouldn't arrive before 1:30....we have FFTF and I just want to know if I should still plan to arrive at the dock at 11:00 or do I do as they ask and arrive at 1:30??
CruiserBruce Posted December 3, 2013 #2 Share Posted December 3, 2013 The best place for your research is the Carnival board.

Rare Keith1010 Posted December 3, 2013 #4 Share Posted December 3, 2013 When you get an e mail like that it is that there is a potential delay. I agree with the advice to post on the Carnival Board to see what others are doing. Also I would post on our roll call to see what those on your cruise will be doing as well. Krazy Kruizers Posted December 3, 2013 #5 Share Posted December 3, 2013 Either your or your TA should contact Carnival and ask how the delay will affect your FFTF that you have purchased.
Bonnie J. Posted December 3, 2013 #6 Share Posted December 3, 2013 We are always ON Carnival ships before noon and we are Diamond (we EARNED the things you have paid for!).
cruzeluver Posted December 3, 2013 #7 Share Posted December 3, 2013 (edited) We are always ON Carnival ships before noon and we are Diamond (we EARNED the things you have paid for!). You paid as well, you didn't earn anything. How else do you move up in those loyalty programs? By going on more cruises, which you PAY for. OP- While Carnival is notorious for sending those emails (its to try and spread out the masses during embarkation) you more than likely can still stick to your plan, but I would follow the advice of others and check the Carnival board as well as your roll call.
