Can anyone tell us how to get the letter 'readable'? I tried enlarging it but it only made it blurry.

 

 

 

Is Peter Bos back as Master? We sailed with him in August. He's fabulous!!! :)

Yes exactly never seen this before but then this is a New Years Cruise and probably many first time to HAL or even cruising it may be normal procedure for a Holiday cruise.

Ok figure some one may know and can answer we were assigned table 56 for dining upper level, does someone have a seating chart and can tell me where and if a table for two?

Yes, Lisa it appears to be a 2 top. Towards the back, port side.

On NA, last day, they had a VIP gathering on board with the Captain, Hotel Director and CD. I presume I was invited because I arranged the M & G. Anyway, I asked them about the new wine policy...stated that there are a lot of unhappy folks on CC regarding this...they weren't too happy I opened the can of worms.

If you have an iPad you can click on the letter and it will open in another window. Then you can spread your fingers to enlarge it so most words can be made out. At least you can get the gist of the letter.

Even number tables in the MDR are port side.......same as even number cabins are port side. Happy you got your table for two. Enjoy.

Watching the Veendam on San Diego cam 2 and figure your probably about done with the boat drill by now.

 

oops just heard an anoucement that the Veendam is ready to go out to sea, ofcourse that could mean now or 1/2 an hour from now. :D

We were on the 18 day Hawaii Sailing Dec 3-20 aboard the Veendam and had the pleasure of dining with him at his table! I couldn't agree with you more Sail he was an absolute delight!

Hi Lisa and Tom. Have a fabulous "make-up cruise," and here's hoping that 2014 is a good year for us all. I, too, recently had open-heart surgery, and am very glad it's in the past!

I am trying to remember if we have ever sailed with Captain Bos I can already tell he is great. While serious he does try to lighten things by what he says. He reminds me so much of Captain Frans Consen.

Life Boat drill is indeed done several missing so wonder if they will kick them off.

Let the New Years Cruise Begin!!!

Well I guess we were ready to go but Captain announced there was a medical disembark and we could be delayed any where from 10 minutes to 30 minutes. How sad that someone needs to disembark but better now than later.
