Alfredos first night on cruise? (Royal)

We would like to eat at Alfredos around 6:30 on first night of cruise. Does this venue take reservations? (for 2) Also is there a long wait to eat there at that time on first night of carribean Royal cruise?

Alfredos is casual - and very tasty - dining. They don't take reservations. I would think you won't have any problems on the first night since many folks won't even know about it yet. In December we ate there around that time and had no wait at all. Enjoy!

We loved Alfredos and ate there twice on our Jan 12-19 2014 cruise. Actually this day last week I ate their amazing salad and stuffed pasta :(Now I am missing it.

 

Both nights we just walked in and were seated right away.

 

We always enjoy sailaway prime rib the first night so I didn't even look at Alfredos that night

 

Their pizza is amazing too.

They don't take ressies - we only had lunch there and the one day there was a bit of a wait but not too bad, I never saw long lines there much but we were on the TA so maybe that made a difference.

We had our embarkation lunch at Alfredo's and it was a perfect start to our cruise, as most people went up to the buffet. As the cruise goes along, people start to "catch on" about Alfredo's and it gets more crowded, especially on sea days for lunch.

On the first night of a cruise, we generally just want to eat casually and fairly quickly. I figure that buffet and dining rooms will be over crowded ( we are any time diners) so Alfredos seems perfect for us for first night. Thanks again for info-- Anita
