dundeene Posted February 27, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2014 I am trying to understand the loyalty rewards format. This is the wording cut and paste from Oceania Bronze - Cruise Credits 5-9 Bronze membership pins $200 shipboard credit Exclusive Oceania Club cocktail reception Exclusive Members-Only Offers Advanced notice on new itineraries NEW - 20% discount on any single internet package NEW - 10% discount on Oceania Cruises logo merchandise My TA , who has provided great service and seems to book often with Oceania believes our $200 shipboard credit does not apply until our 6th cruise. The wording leads me to believe after booking and paying for 5 cruises I qualify as bronze. Not after I have completed 5 cruises and booked and paid for 6 as it would if the credit did not apply until my 6th cruise. Experienced cruisers please let me know whether you received this benefit on your 5th or 6th cruise. I have sailed 3 times with O, will sail on a crossing May 22nd for number 4, June 30th for #5 and am booking #6 April 2015. We love Oceania and have had nothing but positive experiences. Toranut97 Posted February 27, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 27, 2014 Our 5th O cruise is coming up VERY soon, and our documents refer to us as Bronze, and indicate we are receiving the shipboard credit. Hope this helps. Cheers!!
RetiredFL Posted February 27, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 27, 2014 You will receive all Bronze level benefits on the 5th cruise.

no fuss travel Posted February 27, 2014 #5 Share Posted February 27, 2014 We received our $200 bronze credit when we stepped aboard for our 5th cruise. You will receive your bronze pins in your stateroom rather than at the cocktail party.
Mura Posted February 27, 2014 #6 Share Posted February 27, 2014 Likewise, we got the silver benefit on our 10th cruise. Mura
CintiPam Posted February 27, 2014 #7 Share Posted February 27, 2014 Yes, we just enjoyed the $200 credit when we took our fifth Oceania cruise last month. Note that the 20% internet discount only applies once. Spouse took it last month for a work issue that he thought would get resolved with the 200 anytime minutes package. When he needed to re-up for more time, he was told it was a one-shot deal only. Fortunately, we have included internet on our upcoming May cruise!:)

kiawahdon Posted February 28, 2014 #10 Share Posted February 28, 2014 Here is a question: Can I get a 30% discount on the Unlimited Internet Package as a Bronze or above member staying in a PH ? There is nothing (including fine print) that says the discounts can't be combined, nor that the Unlimited Package is not eligible for discount. Oceania Club Benefit: NEW - 20% discount on any single internet package Internet package language on O site: Unlimited Internet Package $27.99 Per Guest Per Day for cruises 12 days or less $21.99 Per Guest Per Day for cruises of 13 days or longer 200-Minute Package $160.00 + $3.95 Activation Fee À La Carte Minutes $0.99 per minute + $3.95 Activation Fee *Guests staying in concierge-level staterooms and above are eligible for a 10% discount on internet packages. Toranut97 Posted February 28, 2014 #12 Share Posted February 28, 2014 new to OceaniaIs it done by cruises or is by days you book I thought you get no credit if the cruise is under 24 days? We are bronze and all of our cruises have been in the 10 - 14 day range (nothing longer). We were credited per cruise. I seem to recall some discussion of credits added for lengthy cruises. Someone else will enlighten us, I am sure!
