We cruise with Celebrity for the first time in 22 days! :D

 

We are really looking forward to having a good craft beer selection in Michael's Club. I read on here that they may be turning it into something different. Does anyone know if this took place or when it may?

I just for off the Silhouette this past Sunday. Sometimes in the early afternoon it was closed for a private event. However, it was open very late afternoon and evening. Enjoy!

We were on the Silhouette the end of January. Michael's Club was alive and well and offering over 50 kinds of beer. It was never crowded. I dont see any way to change things before your cruise.

All of the current Michael's Clubs will become a special lounge for Top Suite and Zenith passengers by April 1st. The conversion started on Century and is well on the way.

 

 

So if we cruise on March 30th, we will not be able to use it? We are booked in a standard balcony room. I wished I would have known this when we booked. We are "beer nerds" and we were so excited to finally have a good beer selection on a cruise ship.

If they are going to make it only available to the suite passengers, they need to stop advertising it on their web page. They are advertising this as a "perk" for that ship.

Yes, Michael's Club will be a private lounge for top suite guests and Zenith CC members during the day. It is supposed to be open in the evenings (after 7pm) for all other guests. Eventually the craft beers are supposed to be moved to Cellar Masters where they should be available during the day.

On Century Michael's Club was reserved 24-7 for the top suite and Zenith passengers. Two HDs and an Executive Chef told me that Cellar Masters may have a changing theme based on itinairy. It will be a Pub on at least one ship, but final decisions have not been made at this time.

You are correct... April 2015 new suite amenity program will be fleet wide and Michaels will be converted to Suite VIP club...

So its no longer a cigar lounge? :)

 

Hi, it has not been a Cigar Lounge for many years now. No smoking

anywhere inside the ship...all indoor venues are non-smoking.

I do not know if it is true or not....

 

I was on hold with Celebrity today for a long time and was disconnected twice, when I finally did speak with someone. He said that is a rumor and defiantly not true. He said before long all Celebrity ships with have a Michael's club. He said they are NOT removing it or the craft beers. I do not have a clue if he is right, but that is what I was told.

On Connie. Brian Cooper is boarding today to start the conversion of Michael's Club.

 

A lot of rumors on Michaels, perhaps you could find out if it is going to be a full time Zenith, et al club or just certain hours and open certain hours to everyone. The press release and subsequent threads are really unclear.

It was full time on Century and I was told that it will be full time on all ships. Really designed to attract top suite guests. Zenith's appear to be an after thought.

On Silhouette at present and next week. We would have been eligible to attend a VIP lounge but there is not one in place so everyone is still enjoying Michaels
