cspryor Posted April 8, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 8, 2014 Going on Liberty THIS Saturday (yay) and about 2 weeks ago upgraded from PR stateroom to balcony. Our cruise documents have the right cabin number BUT the luggage tags have our old cabin number. I am thinking I will just get new tags at the pier but I have never had to do this. Do I just ask them? Is it a "complicated process" Thanks for the feedback!
Rare LMaxwell Posted April 8, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 8, 2014 Curbside luggage porters will have stacks of blank luggage tags. Just give them your new room number and they will tag your bags. No special process and no worries. Have fun!

That should have the correct stateroom number and quadrant letter.
C U Onboard Posted April 8, 2014 #4 Share Posted April 8, 2014 Not sure if it is the same in US but, here in the UK when we sign in to complete online check-in, there is a facility to print bag tags at the foot of the first page
cb at sea Posted April 8, 2014 #5 Share Posted April 8, 2014 Or, just cross out the old number and write in the new one.

Daghis Posted April 8, 2014 #7 Share Posted April 8, 2014 You can show the porters the last page of your SetSail pass. That should have the correct stateroom number and quadrant letter. We did that for our last cruise. They surprised us by merely stapling that page from the SetSail pass around the luggage handle. It worked, though. The bag arrived just fine. Mark_K Posted April 8, 2014 #8 Share Posted April 8, 2014 Or, just cross out the old number and write in the new one.Unless your new cabin is in the same area and deck, I would get new tags instead. Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app
FLACRUISER99 Posted April 8, 2014 #9 Share Posted April 8, 2014 Does anyone know why when they change your stateroom they don't also change your luggage tag? It does not seem that hard to do. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

nyc12345 Posted April 8, 2014 #12 Share Posted April 8, 2014 I did this too, but you have to ask them to reissue the edoc and then it will show the new room number...if I remember correctly.
