CheckersMidwest Posted June 25, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 25, 2014 Do the cabins on the Magic have alarm clocks? We leave Saturday for Galveston & I need to finish my packing.
cb at sea Posted June 25, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 25, 2014 You can get a wakeup call, just like in a hotel. There's usually a clock readout on the phone, but no alarm.
Rare Keith1010 Posted June 25, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 25, 2014 Best to post this on the cruise line board. Keith
Krazy Kruizers Posted June 25, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 25, 2014 We take our own portable alarm clocks.
bellebaby Posted June 25, 2014 #5 Share Posted June 25, 2014 We were on the Magic in December and I don't remember an alarm clock in the room. We used our tablet as the room clock. B
denmarks Posted June 25, 2014 #6 Share Posted June 25, 2014 The alarm is built into the phone system. You dial a number and enter the time you want to wake up. The phone rings at that time.
jammen Posted June 26, 2014 #7 Share Posted June 26, 2014 I have also been on the Magic, & did not have a clock in my room. I do carry a small travel clock.
lisiamc Posted June 26, 2014 #8 Share Posted June 26, 2014 I opened this thread thinking that it must be about clocks with magical qualities. Maybe clocks that could add a few extra hours to the night for extra sleep. I have to confess that I'm ever so slightly disappointed! :p I will add that we always take our own clock, (these days a phone set to airplane mode) because things are always changing. If they had clocks last year, they may not this year, the clock might not work correctly, wake up calls go haywire sometimes, etc. So it's safer to bring a clock or phone of your own. donaldsc Posted June 26, 2014 #9 Share Posted June 26, 2014 Do the cabins on the Magic have alarm clocks? We leave Saturday for Galveston & I need to finish my packing. If you read the title of this post, it sounds as if the OP was looking for clocks that are magical instead of clocks on the Magic. That could have been a really interesting thread. Anyway, there are lots of alarm clock aps that you can get for your cell phone that work well. That is what I use. Just make sure to put the phone in airplane mode when you get on the ship or you will be shocked by the size of your phone bill. Hope this helps. TheBeeSea Posted June 26, 2014 #10 Share Posted June 26, 2014 Must admit I too am disappointed with this thread - thought it may be something special. Clocks on board - isn't that what you mobile (cell) phone offers?
CheckersMidwest Posted June 26, 2014 Author #11 Share Posted June 26, 2014 Nope - I don't bring my cell phone on the ship ! None of our family does, including my teenagers. Hmmmm.....magical clocks :) Sorry, I jump between forums a lot.....didn't realize I posted outside the Carnival forum. :) I will pack one. Thanks !!
