GS + interior = everyone gets Suite perks?

Minor children travelling with parents in a suite always have access to the same perks. They will not separate a family because the kids are in another room.

I would have left one child in the suite, so he would earn the double points. Your husband will be given the same points as you (and vice versa) automatically. Your children will not. I would think the concierge could have a card made for your husband for lounge access if he needed one.

We were just in an OS on Freedom, and friends traveling with us had a balcony room. We made no attempt to get them in the concierge lounge with us ,but they were allowed in while we waited to be escorted to the tender and they were also allowed to sit with us at the suite area at the pool ! Everything was done with the concierge's permission, or knowledge. Just ask ahead of time, you have a great Concierge on Enchantment !

Who is, sadly, leaving in about a month.

We will miss you Reyno. :(

We're a family of 4. The kids are 15 and 10. We have booked both a Grand Suite and an interior cabin on Enchantment. We're required to book one adult in each stateroom since both the kids are <21 years old - so "officially" 1 adult+1 kid are booked into the suite, and 1+1 into the interior.

I assume this is a pretty typical arrangement, but can someone who has done this in the past confirm that

a) there won't be any drama from staff over the fact that one adult's SeaPass won't show any special marks re: suite holder. only the passenger who is BOOKED into the suite gets suite perks. so yes there very well could be 'drama' over the adult with non gold sea pass.

b) all of us will be able to take advantage of CL access and other suite perks? NO. only the SUITE PAX get CL access. again, do not assume that just because you are traveling as a group with minors will the access be extended to the ones book din the inside.

c) As one of the adults will be "officially" in the interior, will we be able to take the 2x C&A points assigned to the son registered in the GS and apply instead to the adult in the interior. (Shoud we? I saw a ref that husband and wife get joint benefit of whoever has most C&A points. If true, would it make sense to allow one of the sons to accumulate the 2x points instead?)points are NOT transferrable.

d) Finally, as the interior is across the hallway from the GS, will the kids end up with the same stateroom attendant as us (who will be in the GS), or someone else? never assume. while it is likely, it may not be a guarantee.

if you want the pair of adults to take advantage of the CL you need to see if once on board they will permit it. usually they have no problem keying a card for room access only, but not to gain access to the CL or other perks.

We were recently on Serenade and during a conversation with the Loyalty Ambassador I mentioned that my daughter (age 16) was going on a cruise the following week with family friends. She told me that I would also receive my daughter's points, and on checking yesterday I have been credited with her 14 points. So points do work both ways.

If you are parents travelling with minor children and are split between a full suite and another room, then yes, you will all get CL access. Parents must be with the minors for them to get into CL during cocktail hour.

RC originally booked one adult across the hall. Do you really think they would deny that adult suite perks?

That shouldn't have happened, but I wouldn't question them or they may take the points away.

Significant others share cruise points. Children and adults do not. Minor children should get your status only, not your points. Adult children will have to earn their own points towards their next status, based on the points they earned themselves.

Their whole system is Royally screwed up.

We took my mom on a cruise with us once and to save some money we booked my daughter in with her. My mom has only taken 2 cruises with Royal but is now showing as Platinum with 13 points. We were platinum at the time of that cruise.
