Favorite casino slot games on Princess

My favorite slot machine is one that I have never found on board the ship.

That would be the one that pays out big while I am playing it.

Right on! They just don't have the big payoffs on any of the ships that we have been on. But my DW keeps hoping against hope that she will find that lucky one! :p :D

Earlier this month on the Caribbean Princess, I had good luck on one called Spartacus. I still don't understand the payouts, but it was fun to watch when I hit. It was in the penny section. I started with $5 and ended up with $50.

There were also some Asian themed slots with bright LED lights nearby that people were enjoying. They seemed to be sucking in the money on them, though, instead of paying it out.

Getting ready to sail (Sept. 6th) and am wondering what some of your favorite slot games are in the Princess casinos.

I'm hoping to see Texas Oil Tycoon (or something like that) on board.

The game you're thinking of is "Texas Tea". It's my favorite also but I haven't seen it on a ship in years.

I, too, used to believe that cruise ship slots never hit. That is until I hit a nice one on a Quick Hit machine on HAL.

Although I have to admit the casino manager did comment that it had been a long time since he had to do the necessary paperwork on a payout.

I was consistently hitting big pots on a double triple diamond quarter machine over our last 17 day cruise. Then about three days before the end of the cruise they removed all four of those machines and just left the stand they were on bare. I told the casino manager "those were the only machines that would pay!". He grinned at me and said "why do you think we're taking them out?"

My favorite slot game on princess is 'cashing out unused on board credit'.

I generally restrict my play to this game.

CATGUY7, I need to give that game a try. This cruise would be a great time to give it a spin. I know - groan :D!

Coveguy4, I’ll have to look for that one. Glad to hear you’ve had nice wins on it! Nothing wrong with boring. jamespmc’s and my favorite game “Texas Tea” I would call corny (due to the cartoon guy and armadillo dancing around, oil wells squirting like a slammed down ink well, and dinging like an old-fashioned gas pump. But we find it fun, just like your’s must be fun to you, and that’s all that matters...well, maybe a win here and there adds to that fun :). Be bored and prosper :D

ar1950, hehehe.

geoherb, congrats! +$45 is great . Lol, that’s how it is with me and all slots, truth be told - I don’t understand the payouts, but it’s fun to watch when a win comes up.

jamespmc, That’s it! Texas Tea. Thank you for the name of the game :). I wish I could remember who the voice of the character reminded me of. Someone famous, though maybe it was someone who just sounded like the person. Hope I see that game again so I can have another chance of coming up with a name. Love when the guy and armadillo dance around. Disappointing to hear you haven’t seen it on a ship in years. Maybe if enough people talk about it it’ll make a return. Probably won’t make a difference, but then, we’ve got as much of a chance at that as we do winning a huge jackpot, so I’ll keep hoping :-).

diane.in.ny, Yikes! That’s not a good thing to hear the manager say. Glad you brought that streak to an end - congratulations! Cool

CruisingJs, Congrats on the wins! Doh (slapping head)!!! That’s one way for the casino to stack the deck in their favor .

PrincessLuver, too funny! You sound like my hubby.

pablo222, that sounds like a terrific game! I’d like to play that one day :) .

jamscckmc, isn’t that the truth?!? :) It even got like that with a quarter sweep machine on one cruise . Truthfully, if was as much fun watching as the players were having. Every night a big crowd around that machine. Hubby thought the machine had a magnet in it the way I and others were drawn to it :P.
