Amazing people! They sacrifice a lot to better their family`s lot in life. You must admire them. I always tip generously to let them know they are appreciated. It makes one realize, as Americans, how good we have it.

On our last cruise, a 25 day Transpacific on the Sapphire, our waiter, Benjamin, was the very best we have ever had. In a couple of months after our cruise, he was returning to his family in Manilla. On one occasion, he shared his excitement in getting an IPod for his youngest son. We are hopeful we will sail with him again. Thanks for posting the link.
