lanceholt Posted October 30, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2014 We are looking for a car that will take us to the Vatican and pick us up 6 hours later rather than the NCL Rome on your own which drops off at Colliseum. Any ideas and pricing?
CruiserBruce Posted October 30, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 30, 2014 There are MANY recommendations for private transport venders just down the board, like the HUGE thread for the wonderful Rome in Limo. However, I have not heard of anybody who will just do the transport in, and transport out, without any service in between. But, as the common recommendation here is, contact the vender, and see what they offer you.
Rare Keith1010 Posted November 1, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 1, 2014 I've done the Vatican on our own and with a tour. I would look for not only the transfer but also have it include a tour for you. It is well worth the price. There are lots of options including Rome in Limo, Rome Cabs and Joe Banana Limos just to name three. Keith

Any ideas and pricing? I've just booked this trip for 3 people with cruisingexcursions.com Total cost £60 (actually got 10% discount for paying in full £54). Check them out. euro cruiser Posted November 8, 2014 #8 Share Posted November 8, 2014 At that price I have to believe it's a shared shuttle service, not a private transfer. It works out to about $95 (US) or €75 for three people, a great deal but hard to believe it's just for your group. Are you able to set specific times and locations? Yeah, it's a shuttle, but compared to the ships (NCL) Rome on your own at $99 per person, It's fine for us. There are loads of other tours on offer, check the link I posted.
