tsconley19 Posted November 20, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2014 Thought I'd check the price for our December 11 cruise on the Brilliance. Glad I did. For $69, I upgraded from a superior balcony(D2) to a JS and was also given $300 in onboard credits. Sweet!! Tom
Clarea Posted November 20, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 20, 2014 If $69 was the total price to upgrade, that is a terrific deal!
tsconley19 Posted November 20, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted November 20, 2014 Total price to upgrade. Also $300 in onboard credits I didn't have.

nik23 Posted November 20, 2014 #6 Share Posted November 20, 2014 The Enchantment sailing Feb. 9, is offering FREE JS upgrade from balcony. Plus OBC is increased from $100 to $150. And, there has been a lot of takers, the balcony rooms have been sold out for months on this sailing, now there are lots to choose from.
Ken at the beach Posted November 20, 2014 #7 Share Posted November 20, 2014 I am very surprised that they are throwing in the OBC as well as allowing you to upgrade the room since it is after final payment.
tsconley19 Posted November 20, 2014 Author #8 Share Posted November 20, 2014 Booking confirmation shows the $300 OBC. I asked more than once if she was sure about the credits. She indicated the bogo and suite upgrade were the reasons. Tom
rolloman Posted November 21, 2014 #9 Share Posted November 21, 2014 As long as it was not 69.00 per day...good deal.

spoilmygurl Posted November 24, 2014 #12 Share Posted November 24, 2014 Thank you for posting this! I had a D1 and was able to upgrade to a JS for an addtl $80 (final payment date was about a month ago). There was only 1 JS when looked online so I put a courtesy hold on it (customer service was closed), called the next morning and they did the magic to switch the cabins. I was in 1104 so I was thisclose to not switching but I had to convince myself that the extra space on the balcony didn't compare to the nicer cabin. I also got the $300 OBC which made it silly to NOT upgrade. Now I can justify the drink package I was only contemplating until yesterday and a pedi onboard. This is a wedding/honeymoon cruise so this is perfect!!! Thank you again!
molly361 Posted November 24, 2014 #13 Share Posted November 24, 2014 (edited) Good deal- I am also surprised that RCL gave the OBC after final payment I think I read another post from someone that got it as well. Not bad for a 4 day trip:) Edited November 24, 2014 by molly361

I called to check and was offered an upgrade to a JS for $165. Was pretty tempting but I may just wait and try again next week.

Rare John&LaLa Posted November 25, 2014 #16 Share Posted November 25, 2014 Upgrade from inside to JS on Enchantment Dec 12 looks like $102, but no dice. GGG sale, they want $400 to upgrade me. :( Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Forums mobile app
