Clean Wine Glasses for Cabin

Many report yes but when we were on the Independence ours told us he did not have access to them. He told us to call room service and they would bring them.

Interesting. On our past cruises we have seen racks of clean wine glasses and regular glasses on the cabin steward's carts.

You can ask for a corkscrew too.

Yes ask your cabin steward or ask at one of the bars, as for wine glasses nearly all cabin stewards will have them as D+ guest and above can get wine as a free gift on boarding if not go to a bar and ask for a couple of glasses once you have used them the cabin steward should replace with clean ones.

When you meet your cabin attendant the first day, tell him/her that you want 2 clean wine glasses in your cabin each day. That's what we did on Grandeur and Serenade, and it was not a problem. You can ask for a corkscrew, but we brought our own.

Our cabin attendant often tells us to call room service. We find it easiest to pick up a few glasses at any bar. We'll get two more than we need and store them out of sight so the attendant does not think they are dirty. If we are headed straight back to the cabin after dinner, we get some from the dining room server.

We make it a priority on the first day, just as we are dropping off our carry- ons to meet our cabin steward. They are usually visible that afternoon and we explain that we have very simple needs for our cruise:

(1) please put ice in an ice bucket twice a day, and

(2) we need 2 wine glasses each day.

Viola, all is solved for the week. Even if something additional is needed, they are there....for us. By the way, we ask with a 'smile' and always say 'hi' and 'smile' to them all cruise long. It just makes it wonderful.

We have never brought a glass back from a bar, unless we were drinking from it at the time.
