amanda384 Posted January 30, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2015 Hi everyone! DH and I have never cruised before but we actually have two scheduled for this year!! :) Both are on Princess. My question is this: is there a way to view your gifts/services purchases online? Also, if specialty dining is included as part of the offer you booked, would that show up somewhere on your cruise personalizer? Thanks for your patients with a newbie! Amanda Unfortunately, the answer to both questions is NO. Princess doesn't show those things online in your cruise personalizer "in case they were gifted by someone and seeing them would ruin the surprise". That's what they told me. However, all you have to do is to call Princess at 1-800-774-6237 and they will be happy to send you confirmation by email. Take that confirmation with you when you board "just in case". I've done this more than once so I know it works. Just call them. Enjoy your first cruise!!!

Amanda I think only OBC given by the cruiseline (not your travel agent) shows up in the personalizer. If you have booked directly with Princess and have some extra perks I would have them send an e-mail stating this. Then print that out and take it onboard with you. Happy cruising! Rare azbirdmom Posted January 30, 2015 #6 Share Posted January 30, 2015 Welcome to cruising! There are no dumb questions. If you're using a travel agent, they should be able to provide a screen shot which shows any specialty dining or other offers that were applicable when you booked. And if you have qualified for on board credit, you should be able to see that on the cruise personalizer screen regardless of the source. And I believe you already have the answer about gifts. Hope you enjoy your cruises.

My personalizer currently shows both the OBC the travel agent issued as well as the OBC from princess It is shown as two separate line items under credits section

skynight Posted January 30, 2015 #10 Share Posted January 30, 2015 "Also, if specialty dining is included as part of the offer you booked, would that show up somewhere on your cruise personalizer?" No, not in the personalizer, but if the specialty dining part of a Princess promo it will show up on the Princess Booking Confirmation Passenger Copy. Ask your TA for a PDF copy. If it is a gift from the TA it will not show up, but you should receive a gift card in your cabin on boarding. Now for a question you didn't ask. Note that there are OBC's for current and former military service, and for owners of Carnival Corp. stock. Check these out if you qualify.

partybarbie Posted January 30, 2015 #12 Share Posted January 30, 2015 We used a TA and I was able to see my special promotions in the "Credits and Payments" section. Just scroll down until you see "Notifications". Our dinner for two at the specialty restaurant, and the 50th Birthday bottle of wine, were listed there.
