Aft suites on Emerald...any odor issues?

My husband wants to know if any of the aft suites on Emerald have any odor issues...like maybe an exhaust smell or ???

 

I tried a search but it does not seem to be working for me.

We were in an aft suite on the Emerald over New Years and had no issues with exhaust smells

Nothing that stands out but most ships have problems like that at one time or another, even the Royal as new as it is.

Its not a problem, its a ship and it has to vent somewhere. There is wind and sometimes it keeps it trapped near the ship temporarily.

I have smelled sewer/garbage smells (outside) on every ship we have sailed on.

Not so much odor issue but rather a soot issue.

We noticed an odor at times but not an offensive one. We also had tiny little soot balls in both instances. We were on the Caribe deck aft.

We've been on the Emerald many times, always aft. We did notice smoke smell, but think someone was smoking on their balcony and it was blowing back...that lasted the first segment of our B2B, and then the next one there was no more smoke smell.

 

We love the Emerald it is our fav ship and the aft is the "bomb" as my niece says.

We were in C751 in January and had no issues with soot, noise, smells or anything else that would ruin a cruise.

We just got off the Emerald on Sunday and were in an Owner Suite - A753. Spent quite a bit of time on the balcony and there wasn't anything to smell except clean air. We could see the smoke from the ship at times but it was drafting well away from the suite.
