LUPY48 Posted March 15, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 15, 2015 Thanks for your quick review. We also had Joel in the Pinnacle. Excellent. Many times I saw Officer's cleaning tables at Sea View. Our bathtub didn't drain either. Our curtains were replaced mid cruise too. Loved my first HAL experience. (Westerdam...Feb. 28-Mar.7)
Rare 1of4 Posted March 15, 2015 #4 Share Posted March 15, 2015 We will be boarding the Westerdam soon. Thanks for reporting chair hogs won't be tolerated and we may have new curtains and bed skirts.
frankc98376 Posted March 15, 2015 #5 Share Posted March 15, 2015 Wine in "water" glasses.... they are going for the true Italian feel I guess. Have many glasses of wine in Italy in small "water" glasses. We've been using stemless wine glasses at home for some time. Has cut way down on spilled wine. zoncom Posted March 15, 2015 #6 Share Posted March 15, 2015 Glasses probably Reidel, or ripoff of.HAL must be upgrading.
solocanadian Posted March 15, 2015 #7 Share Posted March 15, 2015 I like the new stemless wine glasses. They are all the rage now. They are not water glasses. Really cuts down on tipping a stem glass over and spilling wine all over the nice white table cloth.
bobpell Posted March 15, 2015 Author #8 Share Posted March 15, 2015 Yes we thoroughly enjoyed our tenth HAL cruise. We booked same one next year...364 days and counting First time for stem less wine glasses. It does seem safer...just caught us off guard. My wife told me to tell all the ladies the costume jewellery in the Signature shop was better quality than last year and a higher cost too. I wouldn't know!! Just the facts, as Jack Webb used to say!! Hope everyone a smiley cruise Bobpell
Rare Vict0riann Posted March 15, 2015 #9 Share Posted March 15, 2015 And stemless wine glasses fit in the dishwashers better! Glad you had a good cruise. We're looking forward to another spell on the Westerdam!

Alcarondas Posted March 16, 2015 #13 Share Posted March 16, 2015 Thanks for sharing. Glad to see that my own positive Westerdam experience the week before was not an aberration, but rather the standard, it seems.
