First time I've heard of a criminal (with kids no less) being found and removed!:eek:

 

Obviously, someone did not know that CPB screens the passenger lists submitted to them prior to departure.

Feel so bad for those kids thinking they were going on a fun cruise and being kicked off because of a parent. Wonder if the person is "wanted" or just unable to travel out of US.

Well missed it! Did see a live sail-away last night when Diamond Princess backed out of Circular Quay during our four hour Sidney Harbor boat ride.

No, we never heard why. Just observed them being escorted off the ship as we looked over the rail from the upper deck. The man had his hands zip tied behind his back escorted by a deputy and the woman was walking ahead with a female sheriff deputy.

I see a very tall crane at Pier 26 where the Nieuw Amsterdam will dock tomorrow morning. I am sure that crane is there to load containers of supplies aboard the ship for her drydock at Freeport.

I enjoyed watching the Westerdam sail away today. Two weeks from today she begins her long journey to the Panama canal and then a long treck to Seattle for the Alaska season.

 

Yes, and the Sail Away Gang will be on her. :D

 

you got that right:D I had to miss this one, but I will be here next week for sure. I had work to do for DH and with the things on my plate and the delays with dogcare, I couldn't delay.

 

hated to miss it but delighted to see our captain will be there.

0bnxshs doesn't have to fly and is in the U.S. so they can "handle" something extra. I would happily take it, but delivery to Canada is longer and there is not time to play with this so to speak.

 

sorry I have missed some sail a ways, but a girl has gotta do what a girl has gotta do. Between dog supervision, tours, finalization, and stuff still to do here I've been a little busy beaver. My goal is to have it all done by next weekend (or the bulk of it) and hopefully put my feet up for the sail a way.
