Organized Chaos Posted July 7, 2018 #2751 Share Posted July 7, 2018 Got my gift cards and I’m going to use them for Cheers.Forgive me .... the extra $200 I want to use maybe for the casino. Can someone tell me how and what to ask for ? Then if anything is left on my card at the end of the cruise how do I cash it out. Thanks in advance for your help I'm not sure what you mean by "what to ask for." Carnival's official policy is, if there's a remaining amount on your S&S account that was initially deposited with a gift card, then the remaining balance will be refunded on a gift card. But there's a workaround for that, and since you play in the casino, it should be easy for you. If you have anything left over, play a slot machine, put the funds into the casino account, spin once or twice (to make it look legit, because they do catch on to this method), then cash out at the casino cage. Trying to buy them I don’t see them anymore? Did they sell out? Do they come back? ThanksYep, they sell out and come back. It used to take a couple weeks for them to get more in stock, but in recent months it's been quicker. Sometimes they'll have the physical gift cards, but none of the email cards. Eventually they'll get more of those in, too.

Just make sure it includes the card number and PIN. You can even add them at one of the kiosks.

Yep, any total of $500 or more is delivered UPS and has to be signed for. If no one's home, many people have said they drop them off at the nearest UPS store. I've also seen a couple people say they've made arrangements to have them delivered to the UPS store first, knowing they wouldn't be home to sign. Under $500 is delivered via USPS with no signature required.
teknoge3k Posted July 7, 2018 #2757 Share Posted July 7, 2018 We don't go inside any store for any reason so thankfully we order so much online our UPS driver knows us and signs for things for us and leaves them inside of our RV. Our nearest UPS store is an hour away!

Thanks in advance! Sent from my iPhone using Forums You can use one gift card or you can use 5 gift cards. You can do one transaction or you can do multiple transactions. If you use the gift cards to buy Cheers! or excursions, those have to be paid in full when you buy them, so you can use several gift cards to pay the amount due. Using a gift card is just like using cash. I use gift cards for every part of my cruise including the initial deposit, paying for the cruise, buying Cheers!, buying excursions, internet plans, whatever. Thanks in advance! What you might have read was a limit of purchasing five gift cards at one time. I'm not absolutely certain, so someone who's done it or tried it will have to confirm, but I think I've read that AARP has a purchase limit of five cards per order. Anyone know for sure? Pretty sure it is purchase of five. I just recently used 12 AARP cards online to finish paying a cruise off. Tried calling Carnival to pay but when they found out I had 12 cards they asked me to do it online if I could. LOL Wasn't so bad, only had to change last three numbers. bubblemama007 Posted July 25, 2018 #2772 Share Posted July 25, 2018 It took our cards 4 days to arrive in the mail. It did save us over $200. So, it was worth taking the quizzes, earning the points, etc.

Djptcp Posted July 26, 2018 #2775 Share Posted July 26, 2018 Carnival gift cards from AARP are available this morning (7/26). Sign in and then select Rewards, Rewards Catalog, Gift Cards, and lastly Travel. It took me awhile to figure out how to get to them. Doing a search does not get you there. I only have 1200 points, so I can only buy one $100 card for $90 - it takes 1000 points to buy one card. I have no idea how I earned those points or how to earn more.
