If anyone's interested, the eCards are available again, in both denominations, after being sold out for a little while. Physical cards are still available, too. As of about 1pm central.

Thanks for letting us know. I got antsy and stocked up on $100 dollar gift cards.

I'm not seeing the offer on AARP. Is it already gone? Is it typically under Travel?

Look under gift cards, then travel. Electronic cards available for both $100/$500 demoninations ...

Thanks, I tried yesterday afternoon and they were only showing the $100 cards available by regular mail. This morning both $500 and $100 email cards were available. Was able to order what I needed!

Tried for one today and they are back to UNAVAILABLE for the eGift cards! Tried to get one for my daughter and they are only available via mail. We leave in a week and I'm scared to take the risk. :o

Who's watching your mail. Have them open the GC and send you the numbers.

Part of the GC was to pay for the Cheers package. It may arrive too late. I'm hoping a friend can get one via her Insurance Company today as they offer them too. Thanks a lot AARP!
They will be available the day after you leave im sure.

Don't blame AARP because you waited until the last minute!

Sit tight, they will almost certainly be available again before you leave.

Yes! It can be used for pretty much anything Carnival. Just apply the gift card to your sign and sail account and you will have that credit available to use.

What is the best way to put these onto your sign and sail account? Do you have to wait until your on board and then add them at guest services?

Yes, in my experience you do have to wait until you are on board to add these to your S&S, though some boards do allow you to do so in the terminal. You can also use the GCs to make purchases beforehand, including Cheers, prepaying tips, excursions, and Fun Shop purchases.

You can always buy general Cruise Cash and then it’s on your account when you board. If you don’t use it all, play in the casino and cash out.

I purchased cruise cash with the discounted gcs so that my S&S account is already updated before I step on the ship. I’ve read posts where others have had issues applying their gift cards while on the ship (i.e. having to wait hours-days for gc verification and/or the gcs themselves being an issue). I don’t want to take any chances.

My last physical gift card from AARP took two weeks to get here. Don't blame AARP for poor planning.

Yes,unfortunately it’s our daughter that waited until the last minute. We got ours. Fortunate, they came back online so we just got more. Always have more cruises to use the one coming in the mail!

Thank you for the heads up! Just picked up the last few for our cruise next month!
When we had a couple months left to go before our cruise, one of the hardest parts about the wait was seeing everyone on here who was going on theirs much sooner. Time couldn't pass fast enough. Now that we're back, it's even harder to see everyone who will be going soon. :( Man, I need to win the lottery so we can cruise more.
