They look like this: I just looked at one of ours and it doesn't have anything written on it. We do use them every week as hot cups for hot coffee for the daily commute. I would not put it in the microwave though, the paper has metallic print on it and could catch fire and I also would be afraid of heating a double walled cup that could have some moisture trapped. Wouldn't want an explosion. The new cups say cold drinks only on the lids.
BND Posted May 25, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 25, 2015 I highly doubt it since they were made to keep drinks cold. Unless something specifically says "microwave safe" don't use it in one. Plastics emit chemicals when heated and if they're not microwave safe, then they will emit at lower temps. It could also melt or if there's any metal, it will arc and can start a fire. CntPAcruiser Posted May 25, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 25, 2015 Nope, not microwave safe. And here I thought this thread was about someone calling guest services asking why the "microwave" in their stateroom doesn't work. :D
