terryblank Posted May 29, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 29, 2015 is there a web site stating how many ships are in a port at the same time:
Krazy Kruizers Posted May 29, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 29, 2015 There are several web sites -- none of them 100% accurate. The one I like best is cruisetimetables -- they are more accurate than others.
cb at sea Posted May 29, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 29, 2015 There is nothing you can do about the number of ships, anyway...and..the ports only allow what can be handled....
CruiserBruce Posted May 29, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 29, 2015 If you really need to know, do a Google search for the website for the port, looking for ship, or cruise ship schedules. That has been the most accurate in my experience.
sail7seas Posted May 29, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 29, 2015 None are totally accurate but here are some: http://www.portscruisett.com http://www.cruiseportinsider.com http://www.whatsinport.com/index.hhtm http://www.cruisett.com http://www.cruisetimetables.com http://www.cruisereport.com/portsofcallList.aspx http://portfocus.com
Cruisin' Chick Posted May 29, 2015 #6 Share Posted May 29, 2015 If you really need to know, do a Google search for the website for the port, looking for ship, or cruise ship schedules. That has been the most accurate in my experience. That's been my experience too. And some of the port's cruise line calendar will even list the the berth for each ship. TheCriuseDirector Posted May 30, 2015 #7 Share Posted May 30, 2015 If you are looking to find out what ships will be in each port on your Itinerary, then i recommend CruiseCal.com You click the top link "Itinereary Lookup" and choose your ship and itinerary. Is that the site that charges a fee? It used to be no charge like the others?

OCruisers Posted June 1, 2015 #10 Share Posted June 1, 2015 No, they are not always accurate ... and things can change at the last minute. In January people on our Roll Call on Ruby Princess had checked almost all of them out for St. Thomas and were told we would be docking at Crown Bay. Guess What! We ended up tendering into town! It was the first time we had tendered in St. Thomas for ages! Worked out well for us and rather enjoyed doing it again! :) LuLu
PamJack Posted June 2, 2015 #11 Share Posted June 2, 2015 Thanks for the list. This gives me another way to satisfy my need to read about cruises when I'm waiting for the next one I have booked!
