cruisetraveler2 Posted June 11, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2015 I am looking to book a hotel in Miami in October. I have never used LMTclub and would love some input. Any problems or advice that you can give would be greatly appreciated.
eandj Posted June 11, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 11, 2015 (edited) It is easy and allows cancellation up to three days before. We have used it often with no problems. Just call the hotel to reconfirm your reservation a few days after booking. You should do that with any online agent. Hotel availability changes. You can cancel and rebook if you find something different or rates drop. Edited June 11, 2015 by eandj
ilovetotravel1977 Posted June 11, 2015 #3 Share Posted June 11, 2015 We just used it in Miami for our April cruise. After I booked, I called the actual hotel to get my hotel confirmation #. The # you get with LMT isn't the hotel's confirmation #.
Marie51 Posted June 11, 2015 #4 Share Posted June 11, 2015 I have used LMT several times with no problems. Their prices are great.
Rare Host CJSKIDS Posted June 12, 2015 #5 Share Posted June 12, 2015 We just used it in Miami for our April cruise. After I booked, I called the actual hotel to get my hotel confirmation #. The # you get with LMT isn't the hotel's confirmation #. You are correct, it's not the same number as LMT's number. But the actual hotel confirmation # has always been on every reservation that I have made with LMT over the years. It's also on the email confirmations that I get. ilovetotravel1977 Posted June 12, 2015 #6 Share Posted June 12, 2015 You are correct, it's not the same number as LMT's number. But the actual hotel confirmation # has always been on every reservation that I have made with LMT over the years. It's also on the email confirmations that I get. Mine wasn't there, so I just wanted folks to know to check for that and to confirm with the actual hotel. You must be one of the lucky ones that has the # there already...maybe it depends on the actual hotel being selected...?

Cruisin Broad Posted October 1, 2015 #9 Share Posted October 1, 2015 So, when you book with LMT, do they immediately charge your credit card? When I book with hotel sites, I give my credit card to hold the reservation. Today, when I was looking at a LMTclub hotel, it appeared that I would pay immediately if I made a reservation through the LMTclub site. Has that been your experience? ilovetotravel1977 Posted October 1, 2015 #10 Share Posted October 1, 2015 Yes, they charge you at the time of booking, but I believe you can cancel as per normal cancellation policies go (i.e., 3 days prior to arrival).
Ashland Posted October 1, 2015 #11 Share Posted October 1, 2015 I've used LMTClub with great success...the hotel's always seem to have the reservation under my last name not by a reservation #....at least this has been true with Embassy Suites. But you can very easily cancel and get your card credited within a couple days. Too if you see a price dropped, call and rebook with no trouble..
