kyotoroma Posted July 7, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 7, 2015 I don't have a boarding pass printed and I don't have a printer. Do I need one or is this something I can do at the ship (like checking in at the airport and printing your boarding pass there).

thinfool Posted July 7, 2015 #3 Share Posted July 7, 2015 It's a convenience, but not necessary. You need proper ID and an acceptable method of payment to check-in....and obviously a proper reservation.

If you used a travel agent, they may be able to print the boarding pass for you.
paul929207 Posted July 7, 2015 #5 Share Posted July 7, 2015 I forgot the boarding passes one time and had no trouble checking it.
timetravler Posted July 7, 2015 #6 Share Posted July 7, 2015 If you are using Princess transfers from the airport to the ship, a boarding pass will show this with a picture of a vehicle on it. That is the main time you might need a boarding pass. Most libraries have printers and you can print your boarding pass at the library for only a little bit of money. cruznliz Posted July 7, 2015 #9 Share Posted July 7, 2015 Just be sure your Cruise Personalizer is completely filled out in advance. We forgot our boarding pass one time when we were with some newbies. Very embarrassing. Our friends had theirs and we had nothing but our passports. No problem whatsoever though. Our TA tells me she prints boarding passes and luggage tags for quite a few of her clients. :) LuLu
AKman2495 Posted July 7, 2015 #11 Share Posted July 7, 2015 On our last two cruises I presented our passports and boarding passes and the lady ignored the boarding passes and processed us with no problem.

cruisehappy001 Posted July 7, 2015 #13 Share Posted July 7, 2015 (edited) Just in case I always save the Travel Summary, Boarding Passes and Luggage tags on the computer and email them to myself so that I get a copy on my cell phone. Never have needed it, but figure it is good to have electronically for reference anyway. Happy Cruising! kyotoroma Posted July 7, 2015 Author #14 Share Posted July 7, 2015 Thanks. I live in italy and we have no use for a printer and never bought one. I'll see if I can figure out how to save it on my phone.
