Traveling with minors

My husband & I will be cruising with our 3 year old. Do we have to bring his birth certificate to board the ship? He has a U.S. Passport that we plan to bring but are we require to also show proof that he's "ours" to board the ship?

 

No you do not need his BC. His passport is fine.

Yes...Everyone need some ID....under 16 doesn't need a photo ID, but you will need the STATE ISSUED bc. If you have a passport, that's ALL that's needed..no BC at all.

 

 

Did you even read what the OP said? The child has a passport. The question was do they need a BC too. You went off on some tangent.
