Thanks for the quick reply! Even though I'm guessing we'll stick with the classic package, can one of us upgrade, but not the other? It may be worth it for me, but absolutely wouldn't be for my DW.

yes 1 can upgrade without the other. You can also upgrade after cruise starts paying only for remaining days, up till 3 days prior to disembarkation.

So you can try a day or 2 and see if you really want to upgrade. The upgrade will only cover drinks form that point forward, it won't retroactively adjust prior purchases.

We will be on Reflection. This is our first Celebrity cruise--most have been on Royal Caribbean. They always had a 'drink of the day' that was reduced in price. We just can't justify paying for a drink package, especially given our weak Canadian $. So I am trying to budget enough that we can at least have a glass of wine with dinner, maybe a beer or rum/coke in the evening or the occasional specialty coffee. So I really appreciate being able to see menus and hearing from people who have cruised recently.

Thanks very much for the information!

Don't forget that you can also bring on one bottle of wine each at embarkation (some have managed more than that, but it's officially one per person). If you bring the bottle to dinner with you there's a $25 corkage fee, but if you drink it in your cabin or just pour a glass and bring that to the dining room, no charge. Two bottles has gotten us through four nights of our cruise when we didn't have a drink package...:)

I have always upgraded because the classic pkg did not have either Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Noir, but according to the classic pkg you scanned it looks like they are both on the classic pkg. Good news for me! I hope this is true for the Summit since I leave this Sunday!

Cellarmasters is where you're most likely to find that Sauv. Blanc if they have it on the ship. Ask for Wairu River (New Zealand).

We just got off Summit and the wine list in Cellar Masters was different than the one posted. They did not have Wairau River Sauvignon Blanc, my favorite, but did have one from New Zealand. Prices were also slightly lower, unless the list posted had higher prices because of the included gratuity on some ships.

Thanks! The classic package just would not work for us! We are looking at abusing the Premium Non-Alcoholic pkg to the fullest extent while supplementing with some great premium beers / cocktails as necessary.

Hi there,

I'm a bit confused. I'm interested in the Premium wine package which lists at 175+ PP. As it states on X website:

The Premium Package offers a superb collection of wines suitable for the discerning palate. You may also choose to mix in wines from the Classic Package to further enhance your enjoyment. Package pricing represents a savings up to 15% off regular list prices.

Guests purchasing the Premium Wine Package may also enjoy any of our selections from the Classic Wine Package. Price shown is per person, per day.

Is this accurate? The wines listed, I would have to drink at least three bottles of wine in one day to = the price per day!!! I'm not capable...or should I say my liver is not capable.

Sailed on the Reflection on September 21st, and I scanned many (if not all) of the bars menus while on board. Everything looks like these menus will be current at least for the rest of the year. I had classic package, so please feel free to ask.

Regarding the Martini Bar, Classic Package holders CAN order the following MARTINIS only:

Classic Martini, Cosmopolitan, Gin Martini, Peach Martini. All of them will be served in small martini glasses, which are big enough for me.

All other cocktails, beers, wines, sodas, spirits and liquors covered by the classic package can be ordered without problem there.

I didn't try the Molecular bar, so I can't comment on it. I hope these documents will be useful.

Thanks so much for this. Unfortunately anyone who was on the Solstice leaving Honolulu for Sydney on 2nd of October will be very envious of the prices quoted here. Our prices were consistently higher for all alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. As an example your list has the Bollini Trentino Pinot Grigio for $9.00 a glass and $39 a bottle. We paid $11 a glass and $51 a bottle !!! Curbed our drinking habits somewhat !!!

Were your prices inclusive of gratuity? Often cruses out of UK and Australia change prices to be inclusive of the gratuity, and also change the package limits accordingly, like an $8 cocktail on classic is displayed as $9.50 as $8 is really $8 plus a 18% gratuity.

Really not sure about that. We were not cruising out of Australia or UK. This cruise originated in Vancouver - the prices were apparently increased after Honolulu much to the surprise of the passengers who embarked in Vancouver !!

The classic package had both on Millennium. I drank Pinot Noir every night.

The Sauvignon on that menu is above the classic price limit isn't is?

My husband and myself like to drink wine with our dinner. We have the premium package but do we need to purchase the wine package too? Does the premium package give us wine at dinner by the glass only? If we want a bottle will that cost us extra??

Thanks

Karen

My wife and I get wine with dinner every night with dinner and have never got the wine pkg. the prem alc pkg will be fine. We never got bottles on the ship and if you want a glass more than $13.00 you just pay the diffance. And that has on happened to us in Marano for us.
