Cathygh Posted October 13, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2015 Hi We would like to do a cruise in November/December, somewhere warm but with very little chance of rain or storms. Can I have some recommendations please? Thanks Cathy
#1TravelMom Posted October 13, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 13, 2015 We have been on 50+ cruises. We always cruise back to back - the week of Thanksgiving and the week after. We have been very fortunate - fabulous weather most of the time - very warm! We have done many itineraries - Eastern, Western, and Southern Caribbean - all wonderful! I would choose by ship. Currently our favorite is NCL Getaway. We are doing CCL Breeze and Getaway next month.

Rare Hlitner Posted October 14, 2015 #6 Share Posted October 14, 2015 Those are great travel months in many places of the world. The Caribbean (especially the southern Caribbean islands) usually have ideal weather. Parts of Australia and just about everywhere in New Zealand is near perfect. The Med is a bit iffy with the weather (especially in December) but we have had some excellent weather in early-mid November. But there is a greater risk of rain in the Med then you have in the high season months of May-Sept. Hank
navybankerteacher Posted October 14, 2015 #7 Share Posted October 14, 2015 In early November, trans-Atlantic repositionings are reasonably priced ways to see some Mediterranean ports, perhaps a couple of Atlantic islands, and then warming sea days as you near Florida. Nebr.cruiser Posted October 14, 2015 #8 Share Posted October 14, 2015 We cruise almost every year in early to mid December; weather is almost always perfect; once in a while a brief shower, but not often; we've never had an all day rain. Temps are usually in the 80's or higher in the Eastern and Southern Caribbean and Western. On one western cruise we had a couple of days that barely hit 70--but that was only once. The coolest weather we have had is leaving from Galveston once in Dec.; the weather the first and last days was quite cool--40's and windy. By the second day it was nice. The Mexican Riviera is also usually nice by the time you get to Cabo. Again, the first and last day (of a 7 day cruise) is usually cooler; maybe 60's.
