gvgseg Posted January 14, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2016 I'll be sailing on the Independence in a couple weeks with my 14mo old son. My wife is curious to know whether they serve whole milk onboard.
molly361 Posted January 14, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 14, 2016 I know that they have whole milk in the WJ in those small containers
handbellplayer Posted January 14, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2016 Whole milk and 2% are available. Chocolate milk is hit or miss. Besides the MDR and Windjammer, you can usually ask for milk at the Promenade Cafe.
2CatsInFlorida Posted January 15, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 15, 2016 Whole milk and skim cartons in the WJ for breakfast. Waiter will also serve whole or skim in MDR if you ask. Also, you can request special dietary needs when booking.
Grandma Dazzles Posted January 15, 2016 #5 Share Posted January 15, 2016 Milk is available in the Windjammer at breakfast - out in cartons with the cereal. However, it is also available all day long - just ask. Enjoy milk with lunch and never had a problem in Windjammer, MDR, or cafe promenade, or other locations on Oasis or Allure. You just have to ask a staff member. Whole or fat free or chocolate - don't remember if the fat free was skim or 2%. Also available through room service. Ashland Posted January 15, 2016 #6 Share Posted January 15, 2016 Each night for our toddler grandson we got warmed whole milk from the WJ drink station...just before they closed and perfect for his bedtime routine. Those that worked this station were very busy each night doing this for many parents of babies/toddlers onboard we tried roomservice the first night but it took so long the WJ worked out better. cb at sea Posted January 15, 2016 #7 Share Posted January 15, 2016 If you can't find whole milk, and for some reason need the extra fat, just add some "half and half" creamer to 2% milk....
Rala Posted January 15, 2016 #8 Share Posted January 15, 2016 In our experience there is only whole milk and skim (fat-free) milk available. We drink 2% at home and could not get it onboard on any of the many RCCL ships we have sailed, but we have not sailed them all!!;):)
