Working 2 Cruise Posted February 4, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2016 Does anyone know, if on the one formal night on a five night cruise, if they serve lobster in the dining room?? Thanks They don't. If lobster is a must have, go to the Crown Grill.
Steelers36 Posted February 4, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 4, 2016 (edited) I agree. Lobster is the second formal night when there are two on the 7 or 10's. We did a 5 and 7 B2B in November, and I am pretty sure the formal night menu on the 5 nighter was the first menu (but I did not save menu photos and such). Now nothing with the cruise experience is ever 100%, so it's always possible it might happen sometime, but I wouldn't count on it. The CG is so worth it overall IMO and you can have all you can eat. So you can have a steak and lobster. Edited February 4, 2016 by steelers36
IECalCruiser Posted February 4, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 4, 2016 As steelers36 posted, it is the second formal night menu that includes lobster. On our two 4 day cruises out of San Pedro there was no lobster.
cruzsnooze Posted February 4, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 4, 2016 We just did the 5 night cruise to Cabo. Formal night was really smart casual, people did not dress up on this short cruise. There was no lobster.
Daniel1313 Posted February 4, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted February 4, 2016 Thanks everyone for your responses. We plan on going to the crown grill. I just did not want to go on formal night if they were having lobster in the dining room. I will be definitely be getting it at the crown grill.... Thanks again.... Dan The CG lobster will be vastly superior to the MDR lobster anyway.

Rare cruisequeen4ever Posted February 7, 2016 #10 Share Posted February 7, 2016 We did not have lobster on our 5 day cruise, but it was encouraged to be ordered as an app in Crown Grill, and it was scrumptious!!
