sellwingri Posted March 21, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2016 I haven't sailed on Princess for several years and always loved to play bingo. Does Princess still use the paper cards where you punch out the numbers or did they go to the machines that play your cards for you (used by Royal Caribbean)? If they hopefully still use paper cards, how much do they charge?

geocruiser Posted March 21, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 21, 2016 On our last Regal cruise on 3/6/16, they had paper and hand held machines. Paper was $20. for four games with one board. $30 fro four games with 3 boards. There was all so another paper package. The hand held was about 450. and up if I recall. I have now decided to stopped playing while on board because I don't like playing against the hand held.

THANK YOU Geocruise, I've been looking for the pricing and number of games for Bingo to help with my budget for my cruise in November. I will have a pack of highlighter pens with me-a tip I read on Cruise Critic for marking the Patter-and will budget AUD$25 for 4 games. Cruise Critic members always seem to have the very information I'd been looking for! :D
Rare cruisequeen4ever Posted March 21, 2016 #7 Share Posted March 21, 2016 Argh, the machines have hit the ships?! [emoji33] They're a novelty to me once in a while, but in general, I do prefer paper w/ dauber. Could the responder please clarify the pricing and number of cards with a machine? It sounded to me like it costs more to get less on a machine, but that doesn't seem right. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
windsor26 Posted March 22, 2016 #8 Share Posted March 22, 2016 The really important things about Princess Bingo are that you do not have to have the last number called on your card Also th roll over jackpot DOES go on the last game played if it has not gone before (Unlike Holland America who give the money to the casino) then they start another roll jackpot for the next cruise I have called this theft before and repeat it now. fishywood Posted April 6, 2016 #12 Share Posted April 6, 2016 On Emerald last week: $30 for two strips (three boards per strip) per game, $40 for three strips. Other pack with bonus board(s) for last game available. Jackpot paid for final game won in 52 numbers, else it carries over to final session where someone wins no matter the length of final game. I didn't make it to the final session but asked and was assured that you can buy bonus strips for the final game without having been required to attend every session (as some other lines require). No machines, only paper.
